Swaziland is an excellent country for bird watching, with almost 500 species being found within the country. (See Swaziland's Birds - includes information on threatened species, an annotated checklist arranged by family, and distribution maps for each species from the Swaziland Bird Atlas.)  Orange throated longclaw Malolotja Nature Reserve offers a diverse range of highveld and middleveld species, including birds such as the blue swallow, bald ibis, striped flufftail, black rumped buttonquail and many other interesting species.
