After King Sobhuza II's death there
was a period of Palace infighting. This is the main hut of a new Royal
Residence at Malkerns, built under the supervision of Prince Sozisa, the
Authorised Person. When the Prince lost power the project was abandoned.

Game was shot out in Swaziland as
part of a policy to eradicate foot and mouth disease, which affected cattle. It
was later re-introduced from South Africa. These zebra have been captured using
a helicopter and sacking at Hlane Game Sanctuary, they are in a pen awaiting
transfer to other nature reserves.

and effort teaching Swazis the benefits of crocheting, knitting and needlework.
These were taught in the style of the motherland, often Ireland or Italy. Here
