Description:

Key Features: a very flat body, finely beaded body scales and broad head

Comments: Restricted to the middleveld region, this species has a limited distribution in Swaziland. Previously one locality (as P. wilhelmi) listed (FitzSimons 1943), currently three localities recorded. This form is endemic to South Africa and Swaziland.
