Description:
Key Features: a flattened body with a vivid black and orange pattern and enlarged spiky tail scales
Comments: Restricted to the highveld region, this species has a limited distribution in western Swaziland. Previously one locality listed (FitzSimons 1943), currently two localities recorded. This form is endemic to South Africa and Swaziland.
