Description:
Key Features: turreted eyes, clasping feet (with opposable toes), prehensile tail and deep body shape
Comments: Occurs throughout the country in the highveld, middleveld, lowveld and Lubombo regions. Previously one locality listed (FitzSimons 1943), currently six localities recorded.
