Description:

Key Features: serrated marginal shields on the hind portion of the shell, a hinged plastron and a large size

Comments: Occurs in the middleveld, lowveld and Lubombo regions. Previously one sight record was listed (Broadley 1981a). No collections made during current survey, only several sight records.
