Dispholidus typus typus   (Boomslang) (SiSwati: indlondlo) Venomous Description: Key Features: the very large eye and the small head that is distinct from the neck Comments: Occurs throughout the country in the highveld, middleveld, lowveld and Lubombo regions. Previously four localities listed (Broadley 1983), currently eight localities recorded as well as several additional sight records.
