The research activities carried out in Mantenga Nature Reserve include the following:
Monitoring of Bald Ibis (Geronticus calvus).
Preparation of checklists. A preliminary list of plants has been prepared, but a detailed survey has not yet been carried out. Preliminary lists are also available for reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals.
