Malolotja Environmental Education ProgrammeThe facilities currently available for environmental education make up the Malolotja Environmental Education Centre, which has been functional since 1989. Since the inception of the Malolotja Environmental Education Programme there has been a steady increase in participation in the programme and in the use of the education centre. However, the facilities at the education centre do not satisfy the public demands. The centre caters for less than fifty percent of groups that approach the EEC. This is due to time, staff and infrastructure constraints. The education outreach programme caters for less than 20% of the demand, this is due to the same reasons as above as well as the problem of lack of appropriate transportation. |
