Sphedamnocarpus pruriens - Slender twiner; sterns and flower-stalks downy; underside of leaves grey-velvety, upper side almost hairless. Leaf-stalk c 4 mm long, with one or two glands; blade up to 8 cm long x 2,5 cm wide, rounded or slightly heart-shaped at base, narrowing to tip which ends in fine sharp point. Flowers few in umbels, stalk c 2 cm long. Sepals c 4 mm long; petals yellow c 1,3 cm long, minutely toothed. Fruits reddish with broad blunt wings c 1,5 cm long x 1 cm wide.
