Distribution: Subsaharan Africa.
Wingspan: males 38�43 mm females 40�45 mm
Foodplants: Tragia glabrata
Flight Period: Year round.

Field Guide to Butterflies of South Africa, Cape Town: Struik Publishers, 2005; Butterflies of South Africa's National Botanical Gardens, An illustrated checklist, compiled by Christopher Willis and Steve Woodall; Ivor Migdoll�s Field Guide to the Butterflies of Southern Africa, Struik Publishers, 1987, with additional information from Pennington�s Butterflies. Larval food plants quoted are restricted to those species recorded from Swaziland. Numbers for each species are from Pennington�s Butterflies.

The Swaziland distribution maps show photographic records from SABCA virtual museum and Kate Braun, as well as museum specimens (Iziko South African Museum, Albany Museum and Natal Museum).
