Plant Description: Much branched, annual, soft herb, relatively prostrate growth. Leaves broad with parallel veins. Leaf sheath margins with prominent red hairs (sometimes colourless). Flowers and seed both aerial and subterranean, below ground seeds relatively large.
Key Features:
Control: post-emergence herbicides and deep cultivation of burying the cut stem deeper than 50mm
