Plant Description: Erect, branched annual herb up to 0.45 m tall, with shallow taproot. Flowers about 10 mm in diameter, yellow, often with mauve centres. Fruits enclosed in inflated bladdery calyx.

Control: conventional herbicides and shallow cultivation when in the seedling stage
